Projects: Biophysics, Pharmacology and Data Science

Our laboratory has expertise in electrophysiology, cell biology, protein biochemistry, modeling, molecular biology and data analytics.

We study the signaling processes in immunocytes and neurons that underlie physiological and pathophysiological responses to environmental challenges, including physical stimuli, toxins, plant-derived small molecules, and anthropogenic inputs such as novel nano-materials and environmental toxins. We seek new therapeutic targets and approaches that can modify inflammation and pain.
